As a means of connecting with food bloggers and showcasing the versatility of Vidalia onions, the Vidalia Onion Committee hosted a 5-course dinner in Atlanta where each course highlighted Vidalia onions.
The Result: 13 bloggers participated in this dinner, which generated 7 unique blog posts and over 100,000 social media impressions from the single evening. One of the participating bloggers from the event developed a recipe that was shared over 58,000 times on Facebook for millions of additional impressions.
