The International Peace Garden had limited social media previous to the spring of 2019. In just one year we increased likes, engagement, and impressions exponentially and built a highly engaged audience that supports the Peace Garden content on a near daily basis. In one year we generated nearly 4 million impressions and used the platform to raise funds, build awareness of Peace Garden events and features. Visitors asking questions now receive answers in 30 minutes or less and visitors in the garden is up. When surveyed about how they heard about the destination or event, it is often remarked that they saw it on Facebook.
