To kick off their leadership position in organic apples and their new Wholesome to the Core positioning, Rainier Fruit signed a three year contract as the Official Apple of the Boston Marathon. The Boston Marathon represents some of the best athletes in the country and attracts more than 30,000 runners and 200,000 spectators over the multi-day event. Event activations included year-long PR, work with brand influencers in the running community, social giveaways with other sponsors, on-site activations and product sampling at training events, and race week activations at parties, hotels, athletes village, and finish line events.
